As each year, we try to escape a few weeks of Dubai heat by travelling somewhere cold(er)... this year, our decision was set on a Cruise to the Baltic Cities starting with Copenhagen.

We stayed five days exploring the city and and its gems before and absolutely fell in love with it before sailing away. The choice for our stay landed on renting an apartment via Air B&B, a first time for us, and with a with little bit of speculation honestly... however our choice was spot on since the kids were older now and needed the space the they would normally have, rather than a hotel room. We opted for a gem of a find in the trendy neighbourhood of Norrebo, and what a choice it was.

The owners Anna & Lars, are a lovely couple, who had ripped off the whole apartment and gave it a facelift, carefully designing each and every corner of the house. Decorated in a scandic style with plenty of designer pieces, photography art and lots of stag heads and vintage market finds. Check out the Gino Sarfetti 1958 chandelier in the kitchen!

The house felt like our home for these 5 days where we had our breakfasts and home made dinners there (it was enjoyable to cook in such a kitchen too!) They also had loads of interiors magazines and books (a huge plus one!)

The neighbourhood was great, perfectly located in a really cool area filled with bars and restaurants, it is also a close walking distance to Nyhavn. Only a 20 minute walk from the shopping areas, and arriving there from the airport took 15 minuted by metro and then 3 minutes by bus. It was ideal!
