Continuing on our Sharjah newlyweds project, we now move into the Master Bedroom. The clients wanted a super sophisticated yet unpretentious modern feel. Remember they were only going to stay in this house for two years before moving into their dream built home, so they didn't want to spend much on any wall cladding or extra elements they cannot take with them to the new house. Hence we chose quality furniture in slick finishes in 50 shades of grey! We opted for a high headboard to further give the room a sense of height. Chose beautiful side lamps that amplify the modernity by simplifying the materials and going for sculptural shapes. We dressed the walls in a beautifully finished textured

Truth be told, this room is the only room in the entire house that is rather dark. So insted of going with what your brain would normally tell you - to go all light with the furniture and accessories, we did quite the opposite. We embarked and took on the darkness by making it cozy with darker tones. Its an escape room so why not! The color scheme was based on navies, burnt oranges and blacks accented with yellows and brass. Perfect for movie nights in all week long! We selected a sectional for that loungy seating and added a leather arm chair to it. The wooden floors were further enhanced by the herringbone media unit and darker wooden table - almost like a cabin in the woods! Going back to
