While its no secret we love the power of makeovers and seeing a space transform, we also highly enjoy turn key projects. And by turn key I mean we actually received the key from the developer on behalf of our trusting client and fully handled their project from A to Z literally. Our client approached us after checking other designers in the market but opted to go with us due to our approach of giving a home. Since this was to be their holiday home, they wanted a space that of
Picture courtesy of SJH Photography With Ramadan upon us comes sumptuous iftars with family and friends and what better than having them at your home and styling your iftar table so it looks its best? Last week I held a workshop with indigo living at their flagship store on sheikh zayed road and showed 25 influencers and bloggers how to set up a beautiful tablescape with simple ideas and items they might already own. As we move upstairs, the mission was slightly different, this was to be the most cosy and warm space of the house as it is where the family spent the most time with the kids. The best part of a project is when your clients are blown away by the work you have done. There is nothing like it.. feeling grateful for their trust in handling their homes, their sacred private spaces. We also added a small velvet grey bench and some intricate 3D art made with golden threads and finished the entrance with a beautiful car

But this family was extra special because of the amazing mix of culture in it! Dr. Dorsaf, a Tunisian University professor, who among the places she has lived in was Japan! She even reads and writes the language! Married to Mr. Faisal, a Canadian from a Pakistani origin, who have met in Dubai and now have tw
What an amazing styling project. The restyling of a wonderful family’s living area who really have an eclectic style at heart. Though they pretty much had a very good basis for the canvas of their living room, it lacked the cohesiveness to bring together the various styles they wanted.
The space had to be ethnic - moroccan with a modern edge.
We wanted to mix and match different styles rather than be totally traditional or modern. The trick was fi
