DESIGN FILES :: FREE SPIRIT
New home ownership brings a sense of well deserved achievement and there's not a single thing more important than putting your stamp on that home. Projecting your personality on it to truly embody your spirit. This is exactly what we were called in to do. Set in the beautiful neighborhood of Jumeirah Park, surrounded but loads of light throughout, our client requested an airy yet elegant look to their home. A space where they can entertain and just be free!
The color palette we opted for was one with muted tones that allowed the warm wood floors to pop and just to balance that off, we enhanced it with some navy blue and yellows. The play of textures allowed for the eye to travel across easily whether it was in the wood grain, Calcatta marble, or the warmer fabrics. It was also a conscious decision to leave the windows undressed allowing for their shape to stand through and for the light to flood in.
We carried through this look and feel in the Master bedroom, with its grey and blue tones and warm floors. We customized the bedside tables and dressed the room minimally to the liking of the client.
In the office/guest room, we played things differently. Embracing the darker space due to the house orientation and added much more warmth with the wooden storage unit (which is also a Murphy bed that is just ready for those guests!). The extended desk also meant that an office is fully equipped with everything necessary to fully function for WFH (Work From Home).
We won't say much but that we are grateful for trusting clients. Check out what they had to say below:
"We really enjoyed working with Nisrine and her vast network and eye for detail. She takes the time to listen, visualize and show you the best options. We just love our house and proud to call it our home thanks to Nisrine."
